Telling us how things are going
Once you have met your Independent Visitor (IV) a few times you can tell your Social worker or carer how you think things are going. Staff who work for the IV Scheme will also need to know how you feel things are going – good or bad.
If there are difficulties at any time, you'll be able to talk to someone about them so we can try to sort things out. We hope that you and your IV will form a good friendship that will last a long time, but we also accept that people and situations can change. For example, you may come to the point where you feel you don't need an IV anymore. At every stage we will do our best to listen to what you have to say, and to take your views and feelings into account
