NCC Corporate Parenting Board
Norfolk County Council has a new board that meets and makes decisions about how services for looked after children and care leavers should be run. This is called the Corporate Parenting Board. It meets every month and has about 16 members.
It is chaired by Councillor James Joyce and a young person from the Norfolk in Care Council (NICC). The children and young people on the NICC, work with the board making sure that their opinions are heard when these decisions are being made. They also meet and decide what part of the care system they would like the Board to look at.
Any member of the NICC can attend meetings and some are held during school holidays to make this easier for them.
If you would like to have your say on anything the Board has discussed or any decisions they have made, or if you would like to come along just contact the NICC at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can make sure you have the dates and all the information you need to come along.
